From delicate to lively, to rich and bold, Peren’s best coffee roasts coffee beans for all coffee lovers, “Steaming Mugs”- Coffee Bar set up by Department of Land Resources was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier NCS in the presence of dignitaries and officials from Agri-Allied Department at District Project Officer, Office, Jalukie on 12th July 2021
The DC applauded the Department for coming up with such an incredible idea which will not only promote coffee, but also create spaces and hub for social interaction and also a fun atmosphere to work. He also advised that, prior to taking up of any plantation, one should clearly understand the pros and cons and consult the nodal department for guidance and support. The DC encouraged the Department to consistently work for the promotion of coffee and also create avenue for market linkages. He also encouraged the coffee entrepreneur of Peren town to stay positive and look at the brighter side of it.
Later the DC along with other officials visited the Permaculture garden at the office premises and requested the department to come up with 2 models of Permaculture garden design at DC Bungalow, Peren.
Meanwhile, DPO, Alemla Aier shared a brief overview about the promotion and status of coffee plantation in the state as well as in the district. She also highlighted about the scope and benefit of coffee plantation.
