To ensure hassle-free and smooth functioning of the ensuing General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, DC & DEO with the General Observers, MJ Pradip Chandran and Janak Prasad Pathak held a meeting with Micro-Observers for Kohima District on 21st February 2023 at DPDB Hall Kohima. 

During the meeting, DC & DEO Kohima, Shanavas C said that out of 184 Polling Stations under Kohima District, 63 Polling Stations are identified for Micro polling stations and highlighted the role of the Micro-Observers and informed them to monitor and ensure that the Polling Personnel are doing their job correctly. He told the Micro-Observers to see that such basic minimum facilities are in place and also help the polling officials in case of any difficulties that may arise during the process of polling.

A basic introduction and demonstration of how to handle and fix the EVM and VVPATs was displayed to the Micro-Observers by the Master Trainers.
