Felicitation program for Girl Students Achievers and Good Performing School under Wokha District was held at Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall, Wokha on 10th March 2022.

Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha while addressing during the function, congratulated the schools and the teachers who have put in a lot of effort to mold the students, achieving alone is not the only thing but first of all, you must be a good citizen and a good human being and urged the students to respect their teachers, parents, and elders to success in life.

While congratulating the girl achievers, he further encouraged them to give their best effort, work harder and keep on updating with new skills and knowledge to cope with the fast-changing world and expressed hope that they will do better and bring more of such laurels for the district in future also.

President, ANPSA, Wokha, K. Edward Ngullie while delivering a short speech expressed appreciation for initiating such a program to acknowledge the students and schools, which he said is a sign of encouragement for all to do better in their respective assignments.

SDO (C) Wokha, Selemla S Sangtam felicitated the following: Rhondeno P Yanthan (Lotha Subject- DBHS Wokha/HSLC 2021), Emilo A Tsopoe (Lotha Subject- DBHS/HSSLC 2021), Rosy O Ezung (Information Technology Enabled Service- GHSS/HSSLC 2021).

Twenty girl students who secured the highest percentage in HSLC & HSSLC 2021 under Wokha district were also awarded cash and certificates which were handed over by the Deputy Commissioner. 11 schools with 100% HSLC results and 28 schools with 100% transition were acknowledged during the function.

The program was organized by Wokha District Administration & DLCW-MSK initiated under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP).
