The evening programme of the 76th Independence Day celebration at Secretariat Plaza Kohima was held with Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, IAS as the Guest of Honor.

On the occasion, an exhibition football match was played between Secretariat XI and DC Kohima XI, and Secretariat XI won with a scoreline of 4-0.

The winners of the Exhibition stalls were the Veterinary & Animal Husbandry in the first place, Horticulture and Sericulture Department got the second and third place respectively.

Other highlights of the program included a Band display by the 45 Assam Rifles Pipe Band, Nagaland Police Central Brass Band, and Nagaland Police Auxiliary Brass Band. The State level celebration of 76th Independence Day concluded with the Beating of the Retreat.
