The oath taking ceremony of Chief Information Commissioner for the State of Nagaland was held at Dr. Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima on 8th February 2022.

The Chief Information Commissioner, I. Meyionen Jamir was sworn in as State Chief Information Commissioner. The oath taking was administered by the Governor of Assam and Nagaland, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi in the presence of the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio and his cabinet ministers, leader of NPF party, T.R. Zeliang; DGP Nagaland, T. John Longkumer (IPS); Director General, Rupin Sharma (IPS), senior bureaucrats and officials from various departments.

The oath taking and swearing in ceremony was conducted by the Chief Secretary of Nagaland, J. Alam, IAS.
