Team IAF led by Wing Commander S Shanmugam, Commanding Officer 11 Airman Selection Centre Guwahati along with Sergeant Ajit and Sergeant Sunil called on Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Orenthung Lotha, on the 20th April 2022 to discuss the feasibility of conducting a recruitment rally in the district as well as to spread awareness about various job opportunities in IAF. The DC assured the IAF of all support towards the Team.

The IAF team conducted interactive career counseling sessions at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Mount Tiyi College, the response of the students was very positive towards joining the IAF.
