INAUGURAL PROGRAMME OF DR T.AO TROPHY

            The inaugural programme of the 21st Dr T.Ao inter-district Football championship 2021 was held at IG stadium, Kohima on 12th April 2021 with Advisor, Youth Resources and sports ER. Zale Neikha as the special Guest of honour.

            Speaking at the progamme, Neikha called upon the participants to be disciplined and added that nothing can substitute hard work. He urged the players to follow the exemplary life of Dr T. Ao, who rose up to the top in the list of football players. He mentioned that the Government under the Chief Ministership of Neiphiu Rio is committed for the development of sports infrastructure and will provide all the necessary help to all the sports person.

            An exhibition match was played between the women of IGS XI Vrs Kohima XI. The championship is scheduled from 12th April to 19th April 2021at IG stadium, Kohima. All the twelve districts of the State are taking part in this year’s edition.
