DC Mon Thavaseelan K inaugurated the three (3) newly constructed Prefabricated Hospital Units at CHC Aboi on 6th June 2022. This has been sponsored by the American India Foundation and implemented by Modulus Housing through the initiative of District Administration Mon. The dedicatory prayer was led by Pastor C.H Mongnyei (Pastor Aboi Town Fellowship). The formal programme was chaired by Dr. Neiphrezo Soriinuo, SMO in charge of CHC Aboi. The welcome address was given by Chumlamo Humtsoe ADC and HCMC Chairman and in his message, he also conveyed his sincere appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner Mon, AIF, and the civil societies for all the support and contribution.

A special song was presented by the Aboi Town Baptist Church Youth Department and Short speeches were given by Dr. Shasinle (DPO Mon-UIP/RCH) and the President of the KU Aboi Unit on behalf of the civil societies. In the inaugural speech, the Special Guest highlighted the various initiatives and achievements in strengthening the Health Care System under Mon District. He also thanked all the civil societies, churches, and organizations for extending full support in implementing the programmes successfully. Free mask distribution was carried out to all the wards and villages which were funded by the ACT Grants. ACT Grants had donated 5.6 lakhs masks to Mon District so that each Citizen gets 2 free masks. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Hangsha Konyak, GDMO, CHC Aboi.
