Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, P. Paiwang Konyak, along with the State-level Department officials, conducted an inspection visit to the District Hospital, Phek on 26th June 2025.
He inspected the warehouse of the District Hospital and took on spot interactive discussion concerning transportation and stocks of medicines with Medical Superintendent and Subordinate Doctors.
The Minister also conducted a discussion meeting at the Conference Hall, DH Phek, where leaders from civil societies, church leaders, town councilors and public leaders also attended the meeting.
The purpose of the visit of Minister was a part of the "Viksik Nagaland for Viksit Bharat". He encouraged the hospital authority to provide effective efforts in healthcare services and suggested that the timing for OPT check-up and treatment be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The visit inspection of DH Phek was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, SP Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur, IPS and district officers of various departments.
