Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS has notified all concerned that the campaign period for the General election of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly shall come to an end W.e.f 4:00 PM-25/02/2023 and there is a prohibition of public meeting during Forty-eight hours ending with hours fixed for conclusion of poll. No person shall convene, hold or attend, join, or address any public meetings or procession in connection with the election. Display to the public any election matter using cinematography, Television, or similar apparatus or propagate any election matter to the public by holding or arranging any entertainment performances to attract the members of the public.

It has also been notified that in the interest of a free and fair election, all political functionaries/party workers/campaign functionaries, etc who are not from the constituency should not continue to remain in the constituency during Forty-eight hours ending with hours fixed for the conclusion of poll.
