In compliance with Section 14 of the order of the Government of Nagaland, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has authorised the following officers for issuance of passes to vehicles for enabling movement of essential commodities within Kohima district

The jurisdiction/area wise Authorised Officers are as follows:  Kohima Sadar (Rural) - SDO (Civil) Kohima, Longasen Lotha; Kohima HQ (KMC), Inter-district, Inter-State and all other categories - SDO, (C) Kohima, R. Daniel Angami; Chiephobozou Sub-Division - ADC Chiephobozou, Vekhoyi Chakhesang; Tseminyu Sub- Division - ADC Tseminyu, Nokshasashi; Jakhama Sub-Division - SDO (C) Jakhama, Alemyapang Longchar; Sechü-Zubza Sub-Division, SDO (C), Mhomo Tungoe; Kezhocha Sub-Division - EAC Kezhocha, Veneikho Tetso; Botsa Sub-Division - EAC Botsa, Sarato Katiry and Tsogin Sub-Division - EAC Tsogin, Rozy Sangtam.

Henceforth all vehicles to be engaged in transporting essential goods and commodities within and outside the district or for use as conveyance for medical related works or any other extremely important movement/consignment, should mandatorily obtain movement permit/pass from the respective Authorised Officers as stated above.

Apart from those with vehicle passes issued by the Authorised Officers, there will be a total restriction of movement for motor vehicles of all types, both Private and Government (2/4 wheelers). Any violation of the above provisions will be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under relevant Sections of the IPC.

This order will come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in-force till further order.
