DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier in a circular has informed that with the extension of the lockdown period, the following activities will continue to remain prohibited across the district of Peren for 2 (two) weeks with immediate effect.
- The general public shall continue to strictly maintain social distancing and wearing of face mask in all public places, even home-made will continue to be mandatory.
- All schools, colleges, education/ training, coaching institutions etc. However, online learning shall be permitted.
- All public places in the district like recreation centre, libraries etc and all religious places/places of worship shall be closed. Religious congregations are strictly prohibited.
- Funeral/last rites related gathering shall ensure social distancing and the maximum numbers allowed shall not be more than 20 (twenty).
- Marriage related gathering shall ensure social distancing, and the maximum allowed shall not be more than 50 (fifty).
- Shops selling pan, gutkha, tobacco etc will ensure minimum 6 (six) feet distance from each other and also ensure not more than 5 persons are present at one time at the shop and consumption of the same is in public places is strictly prohibited.
- Inter-district movement of commercial Passenger vehicle shall remain barred except vehicle carrying goods. Taxis & auto rickshaws shall be permitted to ply with a condition that they carry not more than two and one passenger(s) respectively. Both the driver and passengers should wear masks compulsorily. Further, the driver should make mandatory provision for hand sanitizer failing which permit shall be cancelled. The fares to be charged shall be at the rate prescribe before the lockdown measures. Movement of passenger buses, like city bus will continue to be prohibited.
- It is reiterated that Order NO.PRN/DEV/CORONA/2020/429 dated Peren, 30th April, 2020 shall continue to be in force till future order. However, stand alone shops and outlets outside the purview of Town councils may be permitted to open as per normal hours.
- There shall be restriction on gathering at public places of more than 5 people.
- Non essential movement of general public Inter/Intra district is still restricted. However, there will not be requirement of any seperate pass for the movement of any Government servant from his/her residence to office and back. Further, vehicle being used by the Government servant for his/her movement including private vehicle if any, will also not require any passes/permit for movement. The concerned Government servants is advised to carry his/her official ID card and produce whatever required so as not to face any inconvenience.
- Movement of non-essential activities between 5:00 pm to 6:00 am till 17th May, 2020 shall be regulated as per Order NO.PRN/DEV/CORONA/2020/451 dated 6th May, 2020.
