The Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Directorate, through a press release, informed the piggery farmers in the State to get their pigs vaccinated against Classical Swine Fever (CSF), under the Classical Swine Fever-Control Programme before the onset of monsoon from the nearest Veterinary Institutes. Further, it mentioned that all Chief Veterinary Officers are to collect the vaccines from the Directorate Office during working hours for the year 2022-23.

CSF vaccination has been mandated for 100% vaccination in all the States by the GOI under CSF-CP and all eligible pig populations in all the Districts are to be invariably vaccinated and all vaccinated pigs should be ear tagged.
