In pursuance to the Letter NO.491/MCMC/3/2023 Communication Dated: 9th February 2023 from the Office of the Election Commission of India, DC & DEO Peren, Vineet Kumar (IAS) has directed that no political party or Candidate or any Organisation or Person shall publish any Advertisement in print media on the poll day and one day prior to the poll day unless the contents of political advertisements are Pre-certified from the MCMC Committee at the State/District level, as the case may be. This will apply in the case of political advertisements to be published in the print media in circulation in the district on 26/02/2023 & 27/02/2023. 

It is also informed that as mentioned above, the applicants shall have to apply to MCMC not later than 2 (two) days prior to the proposed date of publication of the advertisement on the poll day and 1 (one) day prior to the poll day.

The Order shall come into force with immediate effect.
