The office of the Executive Engineer, PHED Kohima Urban Division has strongly condemned the uncivilized act by the miscreants, who unlawfully entered the restricted compound of the treatment plant at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma and assaulted PHED employees on 5th March 2023.

In the press note, the Department stated that the treatment plant compound is restricted area for authorised persons and forcefully entering at unauthorised premises and inflicting physical injuries to its employees when they are sincerely serving the general public. It is informed that the Treatment Plant which supplies drinking water to Kohima Town is maintained and operated by the PHE Department.
