As on May 21, no violation of the lock down has been reported in the State according to the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services. The report added that fines were imposed on 370 vehicles under various sections of the MV Act and an amount totaling to Rs. 60,520/- was collected as fine.
The State Home Department added that all food grains and grocery shops were open in all the districts except in Wokha. Medical shops continue to remain open all over the State. No shortage of food grains, groceries milk or medicines have been reported in any part of the State. According to the report, no restriction was imposed on the movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers. The report also informed that suitable arrangements have been made for providing food and shelter to migrant workers affected by the various COVID-19 restrictions. In this respect, there are 4 (Four) active relief camps where 150 (One Hundred and Fifty) migrant labourers are housed. Further, there are 2 (Two) active food camps and more than 500 (Five Hundred) daily wagers and needy people were provided food and dry ration.
