A two-day EPIC tournament and registration drive was inaugurated at St. Joseph's College, Jakhama on 18th October 2024. The event was held under the theme "Sports for Votes", organized by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nagaland, in collaboration with the Nagaland Sports Association.

In his short speech, SDO (C) Jakhama, Nockpai Konyak, highlighted the significance of youth involvement in electoral activities and encouraged students to participate actively in the registration drive. He also quoted Abraham Lincoln's defination of democracy as:"Government of the people, by the people and for the people", and urged the students not to be lethargic to exercise their voting rights as it is a constitutional right.

The closing ceremony of the event is scheduled for October 19, 2024, with various sports events lined up throughout the day.
