A coordination meeting of Shamator District on Monsoon preparedness was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Shamator on 23rd May 2025.

The meeting was conducted under the Deputy Commissioner of Shamator, Chubatemjen. Representative from various departments, HoDs, DBs and ward Presidents under Shamator district attended the meeting. The President of Shamator Town Public Forum ensured to voice for a coordinated response to the upcoming monsoon season in case of any eventualities. 

The meeting focused on identifying available resources, developing actions plan and prioritizing key task such as the maintenance of emergency road in case of landslides, clearing clogged drainage system, medical, food supply and the overall emergency response mechanism. The committee for preparedness involves proactive measures before, during and after to minimize risks and ensures safety for the public.
