The Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB), Wakching Branch, was formally dedicated on 13th December 2025 at the bank premises in Wakching. The programme commenced with an invocation prayer, followed by a welcome address by S. Longnyei Konyak, SDO (Civil), Wakching. Velayutham Sadhasivam, Chairman, Nagaland Rural Bank, addressed the gathering and highlighted the bank’s commitment to strengthening rural banking and promoting financial inclusion. Speeches were also delivered by village leaders and officials.

Advisor for Geology & Mining and DUDA, W. Chingang Konyak, graced the occasion as the Special Guest. The programme was chaired by Atai Konyak, Branch Manager, NRB. Y. Taiching Konyak, President, Konyak Union (Wakching Unit), proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with a benediction.
