An Orientation Training Program of Para-Veterinarians and farmers under Livestock Insurance NLM 2025-2026 was conducted on 17th April 2026 at the VDB Conference Hall at Longleng Town organised by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Longleng. The training was chaired by VAS (MVU) Dr. Mophe B Phom.

            Welcome and keynote address was delivered by Dy. CVO Dr. Thepfudilhoulie Shuya. In his speech he emphasised the importance of Livestock Insurance to the participants. 

            Technical session was conducted by VAS Dr. L. Bongtok Phom, and VAD Dr. Y. Bauan Buchem, where they shared the insights and expertise of the topic to the participants. They emphasized on the importance of livestock insurance and explained the process involved for availing it. They also extended full support to the participants willing to take up the schemes.

            The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. O. Kupmei Phom, VAS.

            A total of 45 participants attended the orientation training program. Earlier the programme commenced with an invocation pronounced by Supervisor, I.Y. Sommy.
