Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS has informed all concerned that to expand the coverage of PMJAY-Ayushman Cards in Wokha and to facilitate the beneficiaries in obtaining the cards including Aadhaar verification, all the Aadhaar Centre operational under Wokha District Administration shall be functional as Ayushman Card generation Centre as well.

Therefore, the beneficiaries of PMJAY may in addition to impaneled PMJAY hospitals such as District Hospital Wokha, CHC-Bhandari/Sanis, and CMO Office obtain PMJAY Ayushman cards from the Aadhaar Centres of DC Office Wokha and ADC Office Bhandari.

The Aadhaar Centre would enable Aadhaar corrections to match the entries in the beneficiaries' identification system and shall therefore be more convenient for the beneficiaries to be successfully verified and facilitate Aadhaar seeding.

These centers shall also act as permanent Kiosks for registration and e-card generation for CMHIS for all the eligible populations covered under the scheme. All the beneficiaries in the Wokha district have been requested to avail the facilities being made available.
