Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Noklak K. Mhathung Tsanglao in a notification stated that IN VIEW OF the forthcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the day of polling i.e. 27th February 2023 (Monday) is declared as paid holiday for all employees of Government/PSUs/Banks/Financial Institutions/Industrial Undertakings/Private and all Business Establishments under Noklak District to enable them to participate and exercise their franchise. This applies to all categories of employees including daily wage/casual workers.
