Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Dharam Raj (IAS), distributed relief packages from the Indian Red Cross Society to families affected by the major landslide at New Colony NH- 702A, Zunheboto on 19th August, 2026.

The relief assistance was provided to support the affected families following the landslide, which occurred along the National Highway. The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the affected families and assured them of necessary assistance and support from the district administration. The relief distribution was carried out as part of the immediate response to the situation and to provide essential assistance to those affected by the landslide.
