Training and awareness on Dental Hygiene of community leaders, school teachers, health workers, and anganwadi workers under Pungro Block, Kiphire was organized by Dr. Weri Mero, Medical Officer of Pungro CHC from 1st to 10th September 2023. 

Dr. Mero imparted training and sensitized the Community leaders, teachers, Health workers and Anganwadi Workers on the basics and importance of Oral hygiene. He also emphasized on the importance of timely visitation to a dentist for good Oral Hygiene and ill effects of tobacco consumption for oral health. He encouraged the participants to disseminate what they have learned with others. Besides, Dr. Mero also organized timely Oral Health camps at villages like Jessami, under Manipur which was highly appreciated by the villagers.
