The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, Secretary, Prof.Rajnish Jain has issued a notification in view of fight against COVID- 19, time and again had issued several advisories to ensure the safety and health of stakeholders, which include the Students, Faculty members, Researchers, Non- Teaching staff members and other, by taking necessary precautionary and providing required support.

Vice Chancellors of all the Universities and Principals of all the Colleges in prevailing situations have been urged upon to take measures for due care of all the students residing in the hostels through your team members (wardens, deans, other officials and support staff) covering all aspects from health care, safety, accommodation, food and hygiene.

The UGC had appealed not be deterred by the prevailing circumstances and continue to work together for the welfare of one and all.
