In compliance with the Government directives, Kiphire 'Inspection Team' acted on 1st June 2022, inspecting the area where the Excise department check gate was formerly located at Jail ward, Kiphire town.

There were neither illegal collection activities found, nor suspected persons were seen lingering on the premises. 

The only Check Gate in Kiphire town, placed at Jail ward by Excise department has been dismantled on Monday last, in compliance with Government order.
