District Administration and Sakhi One Stop Centre (OSC), Peren District celebrated International Women's day at Kendung Village under Peren district on 8th March 2023.

Grace, Counsellor, One Stop Centre (OSC) as the resource person spoke on the theme “Digital innovation and technology for Gender equality”. She emphasized that bringing women and other marginalized groups into technology will create more solutions and it will create more potential for innovation, and the women's needs to promote gender equality. She also highlighted on various schemes provided the Government.

Peheilusile, case worker OSC, enlightened the gathering about Sakhi One Stop Centre scheme, which provides a range of service including police assistance, medical aid, psyco- social counselling, legal counseling and temporary shelter to women affected by violence in an integrated manner under one roof.
