International Women's Day was celebrated at Heningkunglwa Village Council Hall, Peren on 8th March 2022 with the womenfolks and the Village Councils. The programme was organized by District Administration, DLCW-MSK, BBBP and Sakhi-One Stop Centre, District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with NSRLM, CHILDLINE, and NYKS Peren.

During the programme, PDLSA Retainer Lawyer, Asungbe N. Hau spoke on the topic "Equality has no Gender", while PDLSA Panel Lawyer, Hiekha Indeu spoke on "Legal Provision for Maintenance".

Significance of Women's Day was delivered by EAC Peren, Kevethito Rose. Others who spoke in the program were: officials from NYKS and village level SHG representatives under NSRLM.

The function was chaired by Counsellor OSC Peren, Grace while the vote of thanks was proposed by EAC Ngwalwa, Tsenthungo E. Ngullie.
