Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has issued an Office memorandum, stating that The Republic Day Parade 2022 is a unique opportunity to celebrate 75 glorious years of lndia's lndependence as a part of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". Only a small section of the public can be present physically during the Republic Day Parade and Beating the Retreat Ceremony and this year it is bound to decrease further due to surge in Covid cases.
The MoD has taken initiative to invite the citizens to watch live streaming of the same and to connect with the citizens across the country digitally. As a part of this effort, MyGov has developed a web page (www.mvqov.in/rd2022). The registration will enable users to participate in various other activities through MyGov Republic Day webpage. A digital certificate will be issued to the citizens. The registration will also enable the users to get various updates on their registered mobile number. This is a unique opportunity for citizens to express their solidarity with the country on this solemn occasion. All the officers and staff of the states, including Nagaland, and their family members have been urged to register on MyGov Republic Day Parade webpage. The latest update and link of Republic Day Parade and Beating the Retreat is also available on RDC portal (http/:indianrdc.mod.gov.in).
