The District Administration and Election Department organized a farewell program for outgoing AEO, Olivi Thurr on at DC’s conference hall, Kiphire on 3rd February 2022.

Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, T. Wati Aier said Olivi has served the district with utmost sincerity in all the assigned works. The DC also urged the Election Department to be well-prepared as the State Assembly elections will be conducted soon.

The outgoing officer said she enjoyed working together in the district, and added that the tasks were successfully done because of cooperation and support from various departments and the people of Kiphire district.

Short speeches were delivered by ADC, Rahul Mali, IAS and UDA, Lipimong (Election Department). Vinoka (DC’s Office) presented a special song while vote of thanks was delivered by LDA, L. Sepi Sangtam. The program was chaired by EAC, Chumbenthung Murry.
