The last monthly Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Meeting for the year 2020 was held in DPDB's Conference Hall Kohima on 16th November 2020.

In the meeting, the house took up the agenda for registration of new societies: namely M.H-10 Welfare Society Kohima (a charitable Organisation) and Nagaland Environment & Sustainable Development Society (NESUDS), Kohima (an initiative of Science & Technology Department), and decided to forward it to the Government for further necessary action. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa chairing the meeting welcomed the members present in the meeting. She thanked the District Head Officers and Departments on behalf of District Election Officer & Deputy Commissioner Kohima for extending their cooperation in providing manpower, security and vehicles in the recent successful conduct of Bye-Election 2020. She also thanked the Sector Officers, District Level Master Trainers, Micro Observers, Expenditure Monitoring Teams and all others involved in the election for their services. 

ADC also shared the present status of COVID-19 activities where she stated that a number of Covid positive cases have been detected lately in the district and many are under aggressive contact tracing. She therefore on behalf of Core Committee DPDB and District Task Force expressed her sincere appeal to all District Head Officers to take all precautionary measures and educate their staffs on the importance of wearing of mask at all time and also to enforce wearing of mask compulsorily in their respective Offices.
