Two prominent legislators of the district, Pukhayi Sema, Advisor Food and Civil Supplies, and K.T. Sukhalu, Advisor School Education visited Zunheboto to assess the current situation in the district during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The two advisors held a small interaction at the Deputy Commissioner’s residence at Zunheboto town. The interaction included brief updates by the Medical Superintendent, SP Zunheboto and the CMO. Attendees included District Task Force for Covid-19, various organizations like STH, ZCCI and concerned heads of departments.

Pukhayi in his short address said that he was very pleased that the entire community is coming together, the medical department, the police, administration, societies and organisations all working together. He also assured that there would be no shortage of essential commodities in Zunheboto for the next 3-4 months.

K.T. Sukhalu thanked all the frontline workers, civil societies and all others who are giving their best, The DC, SP, CMO, MS and other societies and organisations who are all working tirelessly for the district. He warned that all information acquired on social media is not always true and everyone should be responsible while forwarding information received on social media and verify before circulating false news.

On second day of his two day visit to Zunheboto, K.T. Sukhalu visited and inspected the Zunheboto District Hospital and also went to the food and civil supplies warehouse.
