The launch of the Ayushman Bhavan campaign for Kiphire District was held at the District Hospital Conference Hall on September 13, 2023. Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, John Tsulise Sangtam, inaugurated the campaign.

Dr. R. Chubala Aier, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Kiphire, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the significance of the Ayushman Bhavan Schemes. She highlighted that the campaign aims to raise awareness of various schemes among stakeholders. The campaign consists of three major components: Ayushman Cards or Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, a health campaign called "Ayushman Mela," and awareness meetings like "Ayushman Sabha."

Dr. Aier urged every line department to support and collaborate with the medical team to ensure the campaign's success, as several activities are planned under it. She stressed the importance of ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries benefit from the scheme.

Deputy Commissioner John Tsulise Sangtam expressed gratitude to the H&FW department for their contributions to the district and their tireless efforts. He emphasized the need for the schemes to reach every deserving individual, leaving no one behind. He called on all departments and organizations to support the medical team in successfully carrying out the campaign. He also commended the medical team for their various initiatives in the district and assured them of the district administration's readiness to provide assistance whenever needed.

Thepongba, a TB Survivor, delivered a short speech, followed by the award distribution of Nikshay Mitra under PMTBMBA. Dr. R. Chubala Aier, CMO Kiphire, received the award for her outstanding contributions to PMTBMBA.

Dr. N. Moa Jamir, Senior Dental Surgeon at DH Kiphire, chaired the program. The launch of the Ayushman Bhavan campaign reflects the commitment to improving healthcare awareness and accessibility in Kiphire District.
