Responding to the appeal made by Team Dimapur with regard to the plight of 33 positive inmates at Covid Care Center,  New DC’s Complex Chumukedima,  Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar has donated Rs.50,000/- (Fifty Thousand only) towards CCC Chumukedima through the District Task Force Dimapur on 27th May 2021.

The cash was handed over by Pastor LBCD, Limhathung Lotha, to DPRO Dimapur, Lolano Patton who is also a member of District Task Force Dimapur.

On behalf of nodal officer for Covid related activities Dimapur, Kikheto Sema, IAS and DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan IAS, who is the chairman of DTF Dimapur, DPRO conveyed their appreciation and gratitude to LBCD for their generosity towards humanity.

Terming the Church as an influential platform, Patton advised the ministerial team of LBCD for continuously educating the church members on Covid appropriate behaviours.

LBCD had also contributed cash to the Village Level Vigilance Monitoring cell Covid 19 Diphupar. LBCD is also helping its Church members who are affected by Covid and the daily wage earners by distributing dry rations to more than 70 households.

Along with prayer support, the church would continue to cater to the needs of the needy during this time of pandemic, as this part of our mission work, said LBCD Pastor, Limhathung Lotha.
