Minister Housing & Mechanical, Tongpang Ozukum and Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, the Legislators in-charge of monitoring Kohima COVID-19 situation along with Kohima DTF members led by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS and Sr. S.P, K. Sophie visited the upcoming quarantine facility centre at K. Badze, Kohima on 13th April 2020.

The team visited the designated site to review the ongoing work at the upcoming quarantine facility center, which has a total number of 304 rooms for quarantine facilities in ten buildings. S.E PWD (Housing), K. Nakhro informed that altogether there are 26 buildings, out of which it is targeted to activate eleven buildings at present including the control room. He said that with the help of the community and line departments the clearing and repairing works commenced from last week and hope to be operationalized in a week time.

The team along with senior Government officials from the line departments inspected the ongoing works, where the legislators applauded the efforts of all concerned officers and line departments for taking the task seriously and implementing the work in much progress.
