In continuation of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) week-long celebration and National Girl Child Day 2021, Local Champions were felicitated at GB's Hall Ahthibung and Heningkunglwa under BBBP Peren District.

In the programme, Dr. Vezhokholu Khamo, MO Ayush, PHC Ahthibung was awarded the Best Performing Female Doctor while Sorangle from New Beisumpui was awarded the Best Performing ASHAs. Hatkholam from New Chalkot Villlage was awarded the Best Performing AWWs and Government Middle School Saijang was awarded the Best Village Education Committee (VEC). 

The felicitation programme was chaired by District Coordinator, Lungngaulie.
