The Department of Transport has notified that the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) has been assigned the task of capacity building of 2,800 drivers for Liquefied Medical Oxygen (LMO) tankers to streamline Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) distribution in the event of 3rd wave of COVID-19. 
Therefore, direction has been given to all concerned authorities to recognize the certificate issued by Logistics Sector Skill Council in respect of Carriage of Hazardous Material and LMO Carriage and transportation for endorsement in the driving license to drive a goods carriage vehicle carrying goods of dangerous or hazardous nature to human life under Rule 9 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
