Alongwith the rest of the country National Immunization Day 2021 was launched in Longleng by the Deputy Commissioner Shri. M. Shayung Phom by administering with first polio drops to a child at NST junction on 31st January 2021.

The Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and President of Phomla Hoichen spoke and exhorted the gathering at the launching program. Dr. Imnameren Phom DPO (CRCH/UIP) Longleng proposed the keynote address while welcome address was done by Dr. Obangjungla CMO, Longleng. Invocation was pronounced by Pastor Gorkha Baptist Church and the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Philip Kent Dy. CMO Longleng.
