Longleng District Planning and Development Board Meeting for the month of May 2021 was held on 6th May, 2021 at the lobby of Deputy Commissioner office complex, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice chairmen DPDB, Longleng.
            DPDB & DTF chairmen appreciated the outgoing Medical Superintendent Longleng, Dr. L. Belho for his tirelessly effort in the fight against Covid-19 and wished him well for his new assignment/ posting.
            DPO, LRD Longleng, Kughalu Chishi, briefed about the coffee product of Longleng district and served coffee to all the members in the meeting as a demonstration.
            Chairman informed about the action taken report of the previous month minutes and he personally pursued and met the two elected members for the funding of DPDB hall Longleng.
            Agenda discussed during the meeting included upgradation/Grant in Aid to Private school.The following private schools have sought for upgradation and Grant in aid were discussed in the house and viewed the genuineness of the proposal and basing on their documents agreed to recommend for further necessary action.

(a)   Upgradation of Blooming Buds School, Longleng Class 9 &10 in phase manner.

(b)   Grant in Aid to St. Thomas School Tamlu.

District level Committee On Sakshi Aspirational Block.

The house approved the following HoDs as district level committee for Sakshi aspirational block, under Longleng District.

Registration of Societies.

The house deliberated the proposal for registration of society and agreed to recommend the following societies under society registration Act.

(1). Aloktepla welfare society, Yachem and (2). Eastern Care Society, Longleng.

New members SDO (C), Yanthongbemo, Medical Superintendent, Kibangkumba, SDO (Power) Er. Moichung Shembu Phom and CDPO Tamlu, Manpong Phom were introduced and in the meeting.
