The Longleng District Planning and Development Board meeting cum felicitation program in honour of newly elected legislatures, S. Pongshi Phom and B.Bangtick Phom was held on 6th April 2023, at DPDB hall, Longleng under the chairmanship of S. Pongshi, Phom. 

Speaking at the meeting, MLA, S. Pongshi Phom expressed his gratitude to the Longleng district district administration led by the DC, SP and other officers. He spoke on the sacrifices made by the district officers and staff, public figures, NGOs, and churches during COVID. He also sought for their support and cooperation. He also said that as government employees, one must be at their place of posting so that they can serve the people effectively. He acknowledged the officers and staff who had come from different locations to serve the people. 

S. Pongshi Phom said the administration and the general public should constantly maintain a cordial relationship and environment. He called upon them to give their best in the service of the people. He also asked officials to approach him without reservation about any issues pertaining to the improvement, welfare, and development of the community.

B. Bangtick, Phom called upon the gathering to exchange their knowledge and help each other. He also exhorted the heads of offices to put in more effort for the welfare of the community. He also assured of his support and cooperation.
