The District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of September was held on 8th September 2021 under the chairmanship of M. Shayung Phom Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB at DC office DPDB hall.

The DC welcomed the members present and welcomed new members Superintendent of Police Longleng Kuhevi Sema and DFO Longleng Suviu.

Principal, Bautung Government Higher Secondary School, Longleng highlighted the infrastructure grievance faced by the School and appealed to the members to extend full cooperation and assistance for all round development of the institution.

The DC reviewed the last meeting minutes and constitution of committee for District Award and informed that 13 deserving officers, villages and individuals were awarded with district award during the 75th Independence Day celebration.

Agenda for establishment of departments such as Transport, Employment and Home Guards were discussed and deliberated at length. The house decided to pursue the matter and put up for government approval to redress the grievances faced by the public.

Kughalu Chishi, DPO, LRD presented the activities and development implemented by the Land Resources Department in the district during 2020 through power point.

Department of PHED and Water Resources will present their departmental activities in the next meeting.
