Following the order issued by the Government of Nagaland Home Department (Political Branch) on closing down all check gates except those authorized by the government to combat the alleged illegal collection of money from vehicles at check gates in the state, the inspection team under Mangkolemba Subdivision Mokokchung district headed by ADC Mangkolemba Dharam Raj IAS conducted an on-spot inspection at Tsutapela on 22nd May 2022.

The team after spot verification has closed down the check gates set up by the Department of Geology and Mining, Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Excise department, and the NSCN (IM).
