Tseminyu District Administration in collaboration with the District Youth Resources & Sports Department jointly organized a marathon race in commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 2nd May 2022.

The marathon race was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS. Nyinbemo Yanthan came in first while Vepelo Koza and Kejushe Kent won second and third place respectively. Among the females, Eunice Kent was the first to reach the finish line while Grace Khing and Catherine Kesen came in second and third respectively.

The programme was chaired by SDPO Tseminyu, Khuzah Jurry. The marathon was flagged off from NDDP office junction with KVK Tesophenyu junction as the finish point.
