As informed by the Deputy Commissioner Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS, mass social work was conducted at Mon Town on 8th August 2026 as part of the preparation for the upcoming 80th Independence Day Celebration 2026. 

            All Government Departments under Mon Town, organized a mass social work in their respective Office premises and the general public actively participated in cleaning and beautifying their respective Wards.
