In view of the upcoming Independence Day celebration, a mass social work was conducted at Tening Town on 12th August 2021.

Clearing of drainage and cutting of grass were taken up in all the wards and town area. The public of all the nine wards, Tening Town Council and all government employees took part in the social work in cleaning the town and Government office premises. Shops and business establishment remain closed during the working period.

ADC Tening took the overall incharge and monitored the social work.
