A mass social work was held on 24th January, 2022 at District Hq. Peren in view of the upcoming Republic Day celebrations. The social work was held under the supervision of District Administration.

The social work which commenced from 9:00 am, was actively participated by all the departments as per the work distribution. The District HQ mass social work was also conducted successfully at Peren, Jalukie, Ahthibung and Tening Sub-division with the active involvement of government employees, general public and the respective administrative heads supervising the work.
