Meeting of Political Parties was held on 16th November 2020 in the Office Chamber of Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Noklak in connection with the publication of Draft Electoral roll with 1st January 2020 as qualifying date in respect of 56th and 57th Assembly Constituencies.

Deputy Commissioner said that any claim for inclusion or any objection on the particulars in the electoral roll entry should be lodged on or before 15th Dec 2020 through relevant forms. He encouraged the members to extend their co-operation for maintaining a clean Electoral roll which is the basic requirement for conducting free and fair elections. The meeting being the first of its kind after upgrading to Election District status, Deputy Commissioner urged the members to extend their full support in all the endeavours for the development of the District. P. Puching Lam BLO, Supervisor Assembly Constituency reminded the Political Parties to nominate BLAs for assisting the BLOs during the exercise particularly, during the special camps. The meeting ended by handing over the draft roll to the Political Parties.
