Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, W. Manpai Phom, has informed the public of Tseminyu sub-division that the Kohima District Legal Services Authority (KDLSA) in collaboration with various state government departments will be organizing a "Mega Legal Camp" on 13th November 2021 at Town hall, Tseminyu.

The camp seeks to sensitise the public, particularly the marginalised section of the society, on the concept of free legal aid and also to acquainted the public with the various welfare programme/schemes of the government.

In this regard, the under mentioned activities will be made available:

1.                  Child helpline- Awareness.

2.                  Senior citizen helpline- Registration

(For those who want to register under senior citizens Association may kindly bring Rs.300).

3.                  KDLSA- Free legal counseling & making of free Affidavits (Income certificate, Name correction, etc.)  

4.                  Health & family welfare- Free Eye check-up.

5.                  Social welfare- Schemes & Benefits.

6.                  Horticulture- Free distribution of pamphlets & display if tools.

7.                  Animal husbandry & veterinary services- Free distribution of livestock vitamins.

8.                  Banks (SBI, NSCB, Bank of Baroda)- Loan schemes, Insurance, etc.

9.                  Aadhaar & Requirements- Aadhaar enrollment, correction, Aadhaar card, Birth certificate, passport size photo.

The Mega Camp will be an excellent opportunity for the general public to interact and to get oriented with the aforementioned services. Therefore, the general public have been informed to avail this opportunity and attended the camp positively.
