Minister for PHED & Co-Operation, Jacob Zhimomi, inaugurated flat type quarter (Type-C) for administrative officers posted in Niuland on 14th September 2026, in the presence of Advisor CAWD, Kudecho Khamo and other district officers.

In his speech, Zhimomi stated that the state government is trying to do justice to all the districts and urged the citizens of Niuland to have patience for the district is gradually developing. He also raised concern over mushrooming of tribal organisation, Civil Societies, underground factions and strongly advocated for unity among the Nagas.

Zhimomi, thanked the state govt, particularly Advisor CAWD, Kudecho Khamo and all those involved in completing the project on time.

Advisor CAWD, Kudecho Khamo, in his short speech acknowledged the initiative work of the Minister in fulfilling the aspirations of the citizens of Niuland. Khamo stressed on the importance of unity and said there can be no development without unity, and urged the citizens to protect and preserve government properties as their own.

In his welcome address, the DC Niuland, T L Kiusumong Tikhir, thanked the Minister Jacob Zhimomi and said it was a long-awaited project and completion of the building will not only cater convenience to the administrative officers, but it will also deliver better service to the public.

The program was chaired by Er. Omegali, EAC Niuland, while Assistant Engineer CAWD, Daniel H Lotha, presented a short technical report.
