Minister for Geology & Mining, Soil and Water Conservation V. Khashiho Sangtam visited PHC at Sitimi on the 11th June 2020.
Khashiho said that the Government has put all developmental works to a stand still, and hugely invested towards the pandemic Covid-19 sickness."Efforts have been taken to provide safe transportation, safe quarantining of returnees i.e. students/workers numbering around 18,000 plus travellers/patients under treatment outside the state,' he said. Highlighting on new SOPs, Minister further informed that refusal to accept returnees will be subject to derecognition of villages. He therefore called out to the public for cooperation in the efforts the Government has been taking for the returnees.
Minister Khashiho donated Automatic Handsfree Sanitizers and cash Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) to the Medical Officer PHC Sitimi for emergencies.
Advisor Eastern Sumi Hoho, L. Kahuvi Yepthomi lauded Medical and other Frontline workers for their sincere services. He said inorder to accommodate more people in the Quarantine, extension works is to be carried out soon. He also said that elders and public is ready to give sincere cooperation to the Government.
